In an effort to punish loyal print subscribers CW is charging us to get the mag digital. What are they thinking?

No way for existing print subscribers to log in!

Subscriber to the magazine are asked to buy a second subscription in order to access the iPad app. Outrageous! I have subscribed for 15 years, and am appalled that they would even think of hitting me up for a double subscription. Captain Fatty should be screaming!

Dont pay any money for this until the app is fixed! It freezes and none of the buttons work. Very unsatisfied!

Have been a loyal customer for years of the print edition but this app is not good at all. The most annoying glitch is that you can not read your editions when not connected to the internet ( such as when at the berry islands in your boat) or on the plane. Now my app has frozen up completely and my annual subscription is running... Will you send me my money back? Ever heard of customer care? Hurry or you will loose your best customers!!!

Overall not well thought out. When articles have links, they are not live, you must must go to the web page, and you cannot cut/paste the links. When you go outside the app, you loose you place. There is a text button that has no use, as the text cannot be resized. The publishers would have done better making pdf of the magazine, rather than an app. But if you have to travel a lot, sometimes nothing is better than something. Just d/l one of the free mags like Southwinds or Lat 38.

...as with Time, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, etc. Pretty please???

As others have reported, purchasing a subscription does not mean that you actually get to download any issues. I tried a monthly subscription, which worked for a couple of months, then would not let me get the new issues. Apple customer service helped me get a one month refund and cancel the subscription. After a couple of updates, I hoped they had the bugs worked out, so I was willing to give it another try. But after purchasing a years subscription, I still cant download any issues without paying the full price. Fool me twice... No response yet from customer service. This time when I cancel, Ill delete the app so Im not tempted to try again.

App constantly has problems. It never tells me that I have a new issue; I usually have to go to the app store to see what issue they are showing. I think the magazine is great, the app...not so much.

Seriously??? How is that even possible??? I subscribe to other publications and they all offer free access with a paid print subscription at no extra charge. This is a failing business model which keeps your readers away from the publication AND the ads. Rethink you position.

Its quite silly when an app whose purpose is to replace a print magazine has no way to bookmark articles or even save the current location. When I quit the app and come back to it, or switch magazine issues, it deposits me back at the front page, and then I have to go try and find where I left off reading last time... Theres this tantalizing button that shows a "list" that I can "edit", and looks like it should be for bookmarks, but there is no way to add to the list, making it pointless...

Bought this in late 2012 with a year subscription. Last issue it made available is Dec 2012. Company did not respond to customer service email and is quite difficult to contact. Bonner is a big company that seems interested in anything but collecting subscription fees. Magazine is pretty good if I cold get the issues. I would stay away from this App.

What a disgrace! Absolutely impossible to use. Crashes constantly and now wont even open on fresh iPad restart! Fix it!!!

This is my first review EVER of ANY app! I had to do it because this app has gotten worse! It crashes all the time. Worse yet, I pay for this subscription! PLEASE fix this! Its terrible and Im just about ready to cancel my subscription.

Its a nightmare the application crases over and over again...its impossible to download the magazines...a piece of crap.

When it would open on my iPad. It has stopped doing so despite multiple reloads and hard restarts, and I am about to delete it. With regret.

Downloads are slow, if you manage to download a mag issue, it will crash every other minute. And it takes a while to restart! :-s

This app is so bad and it never works properly or at all. A waste of money and a scam! AVOID!

Going back to print version. App constantly crashes. Too hard to find articles in previous editions. Eats up too much memory on iPad.
